This week Rebecca and I were supposed to be in Moscow performing during the 75th anniversary celebrations of Victory Day. Here is the song we were asked to sing – hope you like it – Nye dlya tibya (Mhux Ghalik) – a song about loss and the fragility of life due to war. Thanks to Karl Alin for the video and sound mixing, and to Rebecca Mifsud for the Maltese translation.
Мы поздравляем всех с Великим Днём Победы! Вечная память погибшим и живым защитникам Родины! На этой неделе я и Ребекка должны были выступать в Москве на празднование 75-ой годовщины Великой Победы! Every year we are asked to participate in this worthy cause… the annual charity marathon organised at Talbot & Bons. This year was no different. We performed our set to a bar full of patrons, eating, drinking and being merry.
