{"id":355,"date":"2010-12-06T16:33:36","date_gmt":"2010-12-06T16:33:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.clairemccartin.com\/singer\/?p=355"},"modified":"2011-12-14T14:33:50","modified_gmt":"2011-12-14T14:33:50","slug":"concerto-di-natale-xviii-edition-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clairemccartin.com\/singer\/2010\/12\/06\/concerto-di-natale-xviii-edition-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"Concerto di Natale  XVIII Edition 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clairemccartin.com\/singer\/files\/2010\/12\/Concerto-di-Natale.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-395\" title=\"Concerto di Natale Logo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clairemccartin.com\/singer\/files\/2010\/12\/Concerto-di-Natale.jpg\" alt=\"Concerto di Natale Logo\" width=\"288\" height=\"154\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On 4 December, 2010, Claire McCartin, as part of a selected few from the choir \u2018Voices\u2019, participated in the eighteenth edition of Concerto di Natale, the traditional television appointment on RAIDUE broadcast on the night of December 24th, providing a musical backdrop on Christmas Eve for all Italians. \u2018Voices\u2019 backed international renowned artists like:<\/p>\n<p>Irene Grandi, the Italian singer-songwriter; Noa, the marvellous Israeli voice fighting for peace in the Middle East; Antonella Ruggiero, the unrivalled historical voice of Matia Bazar; Lighea, singer-actress, passionate about social issues; Maria Abela, Maltese soprano of ever-increasing popularity; the duo Musica Nuda; the talented Sonhora; Cesaria Evora from Cape Verde, the worldwide queen of \u201cMorna\u201d, a genre that merges Brazilian rhythm with the aching melancholy of Portuguese Fado; the Italian soprano Katia Ricciarelli.
