Claire McCartin was involved with the Speech Level Singing (SLS) organisation for six years, as a student for that length of time and as a certified SLS instructor for five. Since 2013, she has formed part of the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) – an exciting organisation, which is focused on quality teacher training for singing instructors worldwide – with which she is a Licensed and Certified Level IV Advanced Instructor. More recently, she joined Modern Vocal Training (MVT) based in Spain – an organisation which gives a total vocal and artistic education based on old school traditions, mixed with contemporary methods, vocal science and artistry; and also PROFTY, a global artist development platform.

She has developed a strong talent to hear imbalance in the voice. Her skill has been honed through observation classes and private lessons with Maestro Seth Riggs (of SLS), Spencer Welch (of IVA), Andres Martorell and Monique Thomas (of MVT), Greg Enriquez and many other educational courses and classes offered throughout the SLS, IVA, MVT and PROFTY communities.

She is regularly asked to be a judge at various singing festivals, the most recent being when she travelled to St Petersburg, Russia to be part of the jury at the VIII International Pop Vocal Competition “The Magic World of Coulisses”.
