Sanremo Junior ’19

My student Krista Sujak placed 1st in her category (B) and 2nd overall in the Sanremo Junior finals on 30 March singing ‘She used to be mine’. Such talent, and competition was high. The winner will represent Malta at Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Italy on 1 May.

Ghanja tal-Poplu Zghazagh ’19

And…. my dear Martina Galea Loffreda is the winner of the 13-16 section of the Ghanja tal-Poplu Zghazagh 2019 festival – behind Martina was a whole team of creative minds who made this possible. It was such a pleasure working with all of them!

RCSC Acoustic Sessions

Talented singers and songwriters performed a selection of songs during a recital at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture on 22 February. These Acoustic Sessions have started to be quite popular not only among friends and family of my students but also with the Russian community who attend regularly. I have also kept up the tradition of singing in Russian. And this time I managed to get the whole audience singing in Russian too – that’s the way of uniting the two cultures 🙂 Onto the next one…
