One of the highlights this year was the masterclass conducted by the famous FABRIZIO PALMA, the world renowned vocal coach best known for being the voice trainer on Italian TV programmes “Ti lascio una canzone” and “Amici di Maria De Filippi”, The masterclass was held on 8 December and was very well attended by up and coming singers, already established Maltese artists and also vocal coaches. At the end of the masterclass Fabrizio Palma awarded one of the participants – EMMA MUSCAT – a single to be written by the man himself. Also up for grabs were two places in the final of the OltreOceano Festival Live to be held in Italy in August 2015 – these were won by SKYE Mc MANUS and LIVIA MASSA.

 

All the rest did not go away empty handed. Michele Valenti, the organiser of the OltreOceano Festival Live, offered all of them a place in the semifinal of the same festival, to be held sometime in March 2015 in Palermo.
